Created in 1961, it is one of the main sites for municipal and republican events. It is located in the middle of Prospect Oktiabria, in front of the City Council building, next to the State Circus and the Russian Drama Theater. The Planetarium has been here almost since the birth of the park (opened in 1964). This is one of the leading planetariums of Russia and the only one in Bashkortostan. It is equipped with the «Skymaster» projector that reproduces an accurate picture of the sky with 8 thousand stars. Only astronauts can see the stars in such a way.
