The memorial to the classic of the Bashkir literature Mazhit Gafuri (1880–1934) was opened in 1978 in front of the building of The Bashkir State Academic Drama Theatre named after Mazhit Gafuri (sculptor L.E. Kerbel, architect L.V. Khikhlukha).
