It was opened on October 18, 2003. It is a deep portal coated with dark-green chibinite. There is a bronze statue of The Grieved Mother placed on the small pedestal. On the inside surface of the portal made of black polished gabbro there are poems written in Russian and Bashkir languages. Under the Memorial there are 60 inclined slabs made of black polish gabbro with names of 685 warriors – the natives of Bashkortostan perished in local wars of the XXth century (sculptor – N.A. Kalinuskinm; architects – D.A. Vinkelman, P.A. Vinkelman).
