Created in 1996, it has a network of branches: Museums named after Miftakhetdin Akmulla, Shayhzada Babich, Mazhit Gafuri, Arslan Mubaryakov, Muhametsalim Umetbaev. Manuscripts, books, awards, photo and documentary materials, personal items, portraits of writers of Bashkortostan and paintings devoted to their works can be found here.
