Located at the beginning of Tsurupa StreetHere you can plunge into the atmosphere of a busy life and work of the famous painter, People’s artist of Bashkiria Alexander Tiulkin (1888–1980). He worked primarily in the genres of landscape and still life. His works are included in the collections of major Russian museums: the Russian Museum, Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Oriental Art. Most of his paintings are located in Bashkir State Art Museum named after Mikhail Nesterov. A remarkable collection of Tiulkin’s works, personal belongings and memorable pictures is exhibited in his house.
