The building is constructed in 1952 in the style of neoclassic (Moscow architect S.I. Yakshin). Its facade is styled with an 8-pillar terrace with a vaulted arch in the middle. Films were shown in the tree halls – the Blue one, the Red one and the Green one. An orchestra played in the foyer before the performance.
