The building was built in 1910–1912 on the money of I.F. Bazilevskiy, a major gold producer, merchant of the top guild, actual state councillor. There was Poletaev’s hotel, one of the most respectable ones in Ufa. The building is constructed according to an asymmetrical plan and today it can amaze with decorations and variety of architectural components. At the same time the well proportioned pillars, clear silhouette of the building create anintegral architectural ensemble.
